Introduction to Biology and Characteristics of Life

The first section in this unit will be an introduction to Biology and what the meaning of life is.  Watch the following video and power point to get an understanding on this section.  Remember it is your responsibility to review the videos and power points before class so that we can move forward during class.  Please come prepared.

Pre-AP Only

Go through the power points to get the general characteristics of life.  At the end of the power points you have an assignment.  What I want you do do is tell me if it is living or non living and you must support you reasoning.  This is an assignment that you must turn in.
I have added an additional "zombi" video.  This is a zombie snail.  This zombie is real, but again is it living, non-living, dead.  It poses the similar question as on your assignment.  Remember you assignment should be a page long.

Biomolecules

Watch the following video on Biomolecules.

Amoeba Sisters Video Recap

In your table, you will discuss what was presented to you in the video.  You have the video so if you need to go over it, it is available for you.  We will be discussing this in class, but you have to finish first.
