Periodic Table

Element Poster Research Project

Ms. Perez finds the ceiling in her room very boring.  She believes that you are creative enough to make her ceiling interesting so she has challenged you to make a very nice looking poster that she can place on her ceiling that shows different elements.  Your job is to design a poster for your chosen element.  The page below will be your guide for your latest task.

By knowing how to read the elements in the periodic table, you can determine  what element your dealing with, the atomic mass of that element as well as how many protons neutrons and electrons make up that element.
There is a lot more that the periodic table tells us, but that is for another time.  The video below will help with interpreting the elements in the periodic table.

Video on Reading the Info on the periodic table

Use this video to found out how to find protons, neutrons and electrons
Periodic Table Song will go over the element found in the periodic table.  This will help you when you decide what element you want to choose for your project.
