It is a useful technique. The video below will help with understanding how to do Dimensional Analysis.

Practice Rounding
One of your big errors come from rounding. The following video will help with rounding.
Assignment on Rounding
To make sure sure you understand rounding, I want you to practice. What you will do is you will pick 30 elements from the Periodic Table, any 30 will do. You will need to round the the Atomic Mass of the chosen element. Make sure you tell me what element you chose. Take the atomic mass of that element and round it to the nearest tenth and to the nearest hundredth. You must show both to get credit.
Grams to Particles
We will now be converting from Grams to Particles. In order to do this you need to know how to convert grams to moles, so the previous assignments should help. Use the following videos to help with this assignment.

Create a Quiz
You will create a quiz on everything that you have learned. This will also serve as a Test review. This will be due on Friday 5/8/15. You will have your test on Monday 5/11/15.
What should your quiz consist of:
1. 3 Molar Mass Problems, make sure you determine to what they test takers will be rounding to.
2. 1 Conversion Question, using dimensional analysis
3. 2 Converting Grams to Moles
4. 2 Converting Moles to Grams
5. 2 Converting from particles to grams (keep in mind, particles can be molecules, atoms)
6. 2 Converting from grams to particles
You should have a total of 12 questions. Make sure that you set the rounding perameters so that people taking the test can know what they need to round to. You must also answer your test questions. You must show your work!!!!

Individual Assignment
As an individual assignment, you will pick two problems from any of your homework assignments, and like the above assignment, you will explain the steps you took to solve the Stoichiometry problems. Make sure that it is detailed and that you explain each step that it took to solve the problem. To make it better, pick a mole to mole problem and a mole to gram problem. This will be due as soon as you walk in tomorrow 5/17/15.
